FAQ`s

At present most of the Muslims are trying to boycott Israeli products as we are watching the atrocities of Israel against Muslims of Gaza. But the crucial question is that why should we boycott Israeli products, is there any benefit of this boycott?

In the first place this is the least we can do to raise our voice against the wickedness and cruelty of Israel. It’s our duty being Muslims to stop or help stopping the cruel from its cruelty. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said

مَنْ رَأَى مِنْكُمْ مُنْكَرًا فَلْيُغَيِّرْهُ بِيَدِهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَبِلِسَانِهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَبِقَلْبِهِ وَذَلِكَ أَضْعَفُ الإِيمَانِ

“Whosoever of you sees an evil action, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.”

Moreover eradicating the trees of the Banu Nadhir tribe by Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH is a proof that boycotting Israeli products will let us make them weak economically in order to win a war in this modern era.

Regarding this event, Allah Ta’ala revealed the following verse:

﴿سورة الـحـشـر ٥﴾ مَا قَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ لِينَةٍ أَوْ تَرَكْتُمُوهَا قَائِمَةً عَلَىٰ أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَلِيُخْزِيَ الْفَاسِقِينَ

Every date palm that you [i.e the Muslims] cut (and burnt) or left standing on its roots was by Allah’s permission and to humiliate the sinners. (Surah Hashar, Verse: 5)

Explaining this verse, Ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhu) has mentioned that the Sahabah (radiyallahu ‘anhum) were instructed to lure the Banu Nadhir tribe out of their forts. Aiding that cause, instruction was also given to cut down the trees.

Witnessing this genocide happening in Palestine from years, there are many duties that lie on each one of us as a human being, as a Muslim and one of them is the boycott like the boycott of Banu Nazir Tribe.

And by boycotting Israeli brands, Multi international brands having partnership with Israel or supporting it verbally and financially we can:

1.To show our support for Palestine and Al Aqsa, on individual level.
2. Play our role as Muslim Ummah.
3. Stop our money to be used for this horrible bloodshed.
4. Take power in our hands to stop Israel from these barbaric acts.
5. Hold Israel accountable for its atrocities and make a public opinion regarding boycott.
6. Let the western governments put sanctions on Israel to stop its war crimes and violations of international laws.
